Why not come along to this special drop-in session and find out about the range of local services offering support. If you are concerned about your own or a relative or friends memory, come along and talk to people who can help you.

Dementia Information and Advice

Date: Wednesday 21 March
Time: 10am – 2pm
Venue: Wolverhampton Art Gallery, Georgian Room

Details: Wolverhampton has been recognised as a Dementia Friendly Community 2018. Come and meet some of our members who can give free information on dementia support in the city and advice on matters such as safety, legal matters and how to become dementia friendly. Partners include: Alzheimer’s Society, Trading Standards, West Midlands Police, Beacon Centre for the Blind, Healthwatch.

Family Carers Wellbeing Day

Date: Thursday 22 March
Time: 10:00am – 2:30pm
Venue: Bantock House, Tractor Shed, Finchfield Road, WV3 9LQ

Details: If you are a carer for someone in your family, this is a day just for you! Come along and try some relaxation techniques with our Tai chi taster, take part in activities and get information to support you with your wellbeing and your caring role, including information about ‘Memory Matters’ and Support in the Community.
